With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Osf Maura Fortkort (Lewiston, New York), born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on June 21, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Fortkort and Mary Fortkort (O'Donnell); and her brother Thomas Fortkort. She is survived by: her sisters, Maura and Nancy Fortkort; her niece Mary Broncaccio; and her nephews, Michael Fortkort, Peter Fortkort and John Fortkort. She is also survived by many great-great nieces and nephews, as well as her Sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 4421 Lower River Rd, Lewiston, NY 14092. A prayer will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
