He was predeceased by : his sister Joan Ellis; and his parents, John C. Ellis, and Nedra Butler Ellis, Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Constance Schaaf Ellis; his daughters, Kim McTarnaghan (Stephen) of Leesburg, FL and Dawn Ingalls II (Fred) of Groveland; his grandchildren, Jessica McAbee (Tim), Matthew McTarnaghan and Abigail Ingalls; his great grandchildren, Uilliam and Aileen McAbee; and his siblings, Barb Lancer (Leo) and Michael Ellis of Swain. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
