She was predeceased by : her parents, Willis "Buck" and Lillian Pierce Whaley; her son Jerry Harkins; and her siblings, Richard, Charles, Bob Whaley, Phyllis Wiedeman and Brenda McIlroy.

She is survived by : her children, Karen Donofrio of Florida, Beth Herman (Carl) of Warsaw and Craig Harkins (Barb) of Wyoming, NY; her daughter-in-law Linda Harkins of Arizona; and her niece Jill Beagle of Pavilion. She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great grand children.
