He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Cameron and Mary Laurie (Davis); his wives, Patricia Laurie and Shari Cuddy Laurie; his siblings, Cameron Laurie, Virginia Smith and Charles S. Laurie; and his pet Misty Ann.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Filipkowski (Walter), Walter Boland, David Finley (Linda), Charles Laurie (Jill), Jan Essel (Geoff) and John Perrigo (Tanya); and his siblings, Harold Laurie and Janet Stanton. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
