She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Charles Herbert and Nancy Gertrude Dunster (Hendershot); her husband James K. Brittain; her daughters, Anita Brittain-Castillo (Victor), Jennifer Pulver (Richard Bowen) and Sharon Zingler (William); and her grandchildren, Jessica Pulver, Alissa Henderson (Bobby), Dylan Zingler and Noah Zingler (Willow). She was also cherished by her children and grandchildren, she made outfits for many children.
