She was predeceased by : her parents, Maurice Gates and Grace Gates of Clay, NY.; her brothers, Franklin and Donald Gates; and her grandson Dillan Mueller.

She is survived by : her children, Sandy of Liverpool, NY, Joanne West (Rick) of Mooresville, NC, Kathy Dooner (Shawn) of Marco Island, Susan Day (Terry) of Constantia, NY, Michael Mueller of Syracuse, NY and Chris Mueller (Dawn) of Mooresville, NC. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
