He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth R. Mears and Betty I. Gransbury Mears; and his sister Linda A. Mears. He is survived by : his children, David Mears (Elaine) of Liberty, NY and Nikki Pirog (Tom) of Hawaii. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
