It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kathleen Capozzoli of Livingston Manor, New York, who passed away at the age of 66, on December 10, 2025. She was predeceased by: her mother Shirley Swendsen; her siblings, Robert Hillriegel (Bobby) and Cindy; her brother-in-law Frank Hook (Bob); her stepfather Theodore Bagailuk (Ted); and her grandson Brian Patrick Shockley.
She is survived by: her father Robert Hillriegel (Arlene); her significant other Lucido Capozzoli (Lou); her children, Michelle Waychoff (David), Kristin La Notte (Marco), Aaron Simmons (Fallon) and Shane Simmons; her stepchildren, Anthony Capozzoli (Stephanie) and Krysten Capozzoli; her sisters, Terri Pellam (late Tim) and Kristi Jouben (Mike); her stepsiblings, Lee Hubbert (late Rose), Lori Lackey-Husted, Peggy Marchese and Kim Hendrickson (late Scott); her grandchildren, Kaleb, Katie, Kendall, Gabriel, Xander, Jaidon, Braydon, Carson, Elijah, Adalyn, Landon, Alexander and Kensley; and her great grandchildren, Lily and Greyson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and amazing friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Colonial Memorial Chapel (396 NY-52, Woodbourne, NY 12788). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hortonville Cemetery.
