He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Norman Abt and Marion Abt (Welsh); his children, Lori Southards (Eugene), Charles Abt, Jr., Joseph Abt (Heather Pollock), Jason Abt, Andrea Ward and Jennifer Abt Fresch; and his siblings, Bobby Abt, Jimmy Abt, John Abt, Betty Bailey, Donna Cotton, Butch, David, Arnie and Janet Abt. He was also cherished by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
