She was predeceased by: her husband Bobby Cordle; and her sibling Sonny McCoy. She is survived by: her parents, Nathan Samson and Virgie Samson (Vandyke); her child Roger Cordle (Janelle); her grandchildren, Charity of Amber and Jonathan Cordle; and her siblings, Oakley McCoy, Perry McCoy, Hayes Samson, Evelyn Collier and Earl Samson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
