She was predeceased by: her parent Mylen Daugherty; her grandparents, Bertha and Richard; her uncle John; and her aunt Sally Collar.
She is survived by: her mother Dicksie Daugherty (Collar); her sons, Dennis Zimmerman (Sharon Lee Chase), Shawn and Jeremy (Kenny); her mother-in-law Joanne Marshall; her siblings, Kathleen Rubalcaba (José), Mylen "Buddy" Daugherty, Marie Rairie (Richard Wendt), Matthew Daugherty (Amanda) and Michael Daugherty (Ashley); and her grandsons, Ian Meier, Mason Zimmerman, Eli Zimmerman and Nathan Chase-Krantz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
In appreciation for the great love and care that Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center gave to Dixie, memorial contributions in her name may be made to Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, P. O. Box 631, Buffalo, NY 14240 Dixie's arrangements have been entrusted to the Sherrie Bream Funeral Home 4521 Main St. Gasport, NY 14067.
