He is survived by: his father John Ahlstrom Sr.; his wife Jennifer Ahlstrom (Ryan); his sister Carolyn Pilarcik (Justin); his nieces, Eleanor and Audrey Pilarcik; his aunts, Janet and Marilee Meyers; his uncle Dennis Badame; and his cousins, Jennifer Courtright (Dan), Carrie Vieceli (John), Erin Badame, Megan Griffin (Travis) and Meredith Meyers (Don).
