She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stephen L. Dempsey and Helen Dempsey (Kane); her husband Michael R. Penna; her sons, Todd M. Penna, Joshua M. Penna (Melissa) and Courey P. Penna (Carrie); her grandchildren, Alena, Emma and Courey W.; and her siblings, Douglas Dempsey (Sherry), Molly Glaser (Richard), Marilyn Whitwell and James Dempsey. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations to the First Presbyterian Church Bell Choir in the name of Beatrice R. Fraser would be appreciated, in lieu of flowers.
