He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Schafsteck and Leona Schafsteck (Smith); his wife Rachel Schafsteck (Walker); and his children, Gretchen Hasley (Duane), Kurt Schafsteck (Ramona), Kay Jones, Jan Johnson (Dave), Jill Ingalsbe (Tim) and Gayle Corey. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
