He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elijah Covington and Alice Covington (Shell); and his children, Destiny Covington, Tiecha Hill, Solomon Hill, Lovane Rancifer, Wilbert Rancifer, Couirte Rancifer and Terryl Hill. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
