She was predeceased by: her husband Donald S. Morton; and her sibling Gunars Kalnins. She is survived by: her children, Geoffrey E. (Lisa) and Andris S. (Nicole); her grandchildren, Jessica (Wes), Hayley, Nicholas, Alexis and Janea; her great grandchild Evelyn; and her siblings, Aina Niedritis (Kalnins), Ringolds Kalnins and Maigonis Kalnins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
