She is survived by: her children, James (Anne) and Timothy (Kristen); her grandchildren, Robert, Carrick and Callan; her sisters, Mary Anne and Carolyn (Steve); and her husband Robbie. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.
While her untimely passing, has taken from the world a person often referred to by others as "the kindest person they have ever met", her family takes solace in the fact Joan will be reunited with her husband Robbie, her parents and countless other relatives in a better place.While Joan was a life long lover of flowers and gardening, we know her wish would be that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her memory to Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, NY or Metropolitan Jewish Hospice in Brooklyn NY.
