He was predeceased by : his parents, Isidoro Vega and Nitza Vega (Alvarado); and his siblings, Angie Nilda, Ruben, Carlos, David and Ismahal.
He is survived by : his wife Lydia Ortiz-Vega; his children, Lillie DeGennaro (Michael), Luis Vega Jr. and Colin Vega (Sheryl); and his siblings, Eva, Judy, Wilson, William and Anibia. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Luis requested all memorial contributions be directed to the /*Alzheimer's Association.
