He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter J. Kennedy and Geraldine Murphy Kennedy of Port Washington; and his sister Mary Jane Kennedy. He is survived by: his siblings, Hope (Peggy), Geraldine Biederman (Vern), Gail Van Buren (Jim), Peter (Annemarie O'Connor) and Jim (Peg). He is also survived by nephews and 17 grandnieces and grandnephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ozanam Hall (42-41 201st St, Flushing, NY 11361).
In lieu of flowers, contributions in John's memory may be made to the Nassau County AHRC or to Ozanam Hall.
