She is survived by: her parents, George Steigerwald and Darcy Steigerwald; her former husband Matthew Tomaiuoli; her husband Jack Sanborn; her children, Marc (Donna), Catherine Tomaiuoli Santoro (Julius) and Dorothy Pitt (Brian); her granddaughters, Marisa Tomaiuoli, Maddison Pitt, Makenna Pitt, Nicole Pitt, Emilia Stojanovski, Steve Stojanovski, Maria Trajcevski, Jimmy Trajcevski and Peter Santoro; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Victoria Stojanovski and Tony Trajcevski; her stepchildren, Scott Sanborn, Lorie Sanborn, Marybeth Aloi, Jerry Aloi and Christopher Sanborn; her stepgrandchildren, Katie Sanborn, Matthew Aloi (Julia), Meaghan Keller (Adam), Ryan Sanborn (Lindsey), Kevin Sanborn and Molly Sanborn; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Grace Aloi and Jaxson Sanborn.
In lieu of flowers, Cookie wished contributions to be made to Hospice of Central New York.
