He was predeceased by: his father Larry Dewey. He is survived by: his wife Julie Dewey; his children, Melanie Dewey and Brett Dewey; his mother Cynthia Crevelling; and his sister Allison Bassi (Steve). He is also survived by several siblings and parents in-law, and his several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to the pandemic.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Christopher's memory may be made out to Julie Dewey and will be directed towards a Foundation that will be established for Mucosal Melanoma in his honor.
