He was predeceased by: his wife Vietta Beekner Hotaling. He is survived by: his children, Harold Hotaling (Mary) of Manlius and Barbara E. Hotaling of Manlius; and his grandsons, William A. Hotaling of Brooklyn and Christopher R. Hotaling (Jenna) of Rochester. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
