He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his children, Sarah Adelstein (Jonathan), Gregory Mitchell (Laura) and Allison Mitchell; his grandchildren, Morgan and Elias; and his brother Norman Mitchell (Cindy). He is also survived by sister-in-law; brothers-in-law; many nieces, nephews, great-niece, great-nephews and cousins.
