It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Elaine Howard of Mayville, New York, born in North East, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Carl Duryee; her son Ryan S. Howard; and her great grandchild Cameron Massey. She is survived by : her mother Alice Trask Chambers of Jamestown, NY; her husband Gary Howard Sr. of Mayville, NY; her children, Gary Howard Jr. (Lisa) of Sharpsburg, GA and Christie Asel (Hank) of Lakewood, NY; and her brothers, Joseph Chambers (Donna) of Rochester, NY, James Chambers (Linda) of Sherman, NY and Jeffry Chambers (Linda) of Jumping Branch, WV. She is also survived by thirty grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care (20 W. Fairmount Ave, Lakewood, NY 14750).
