He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Robert and Evelyn Spoon. He is survived by : his parents, Dennis Spoon and Carol Spoon (Kimbel) of Sinclairville, NY; his wife Kaitlin Spoon (Bova); his siblings, Jenna Spoon of Sinclairville, NY, Kassie Goff (Brent) of Brunswick, GA, Robert Spoon (Dena) of Mayville, NY and Justin Spoon (Jaci) of Kennedy, NY; his grandfather Richard Kimbel; his aunts and uncles, Paula Rath (Scott), Gloria Spoon, Bonnie Kinney, Cheryl Truesdail (Meryl), Beverly Emory (Ken), Jeff Kimbel, Jon Kimbel and Robert Spoon (Connie); his parents-in-law, Martin and Barbara Bova; his sisters-in-law, Jennifer Miller (David) and Madeline Patterson (Thomas); and his nieces and nephews, Hunter, Nicholas (Brayden Goff), Riley (Haylie Spoon), Luke (Jenna Waters), Khloey (David Miller), Thomas and Claire (Wyatt Patterson). He is also survived by many cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made for his baby arriving in October to the "In Memory of Richard Spoon" trust fund at Inner Lakes Federal Credit Union, 19-21 E. Main Street, Westfield, NY 14787.
