We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Robert Norman Mathews of Mayville, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Orrin H. Mathews and Lucille Benson Mathews; his niece Darlene Marie Mathews; and his brother-in-law Dennis Pipher. He is survived by : his wife Joyce Bentley Mathews; his children, Debra Butler (Michael) of Effingham, SC and Robert Mathews (Cynthia) of Columbia, SC; his granddaughters, Kayla and Jessica Butler of Effingham, SC; and his siblings, Louise Pipher of Ripley, NY, Paul Mathews (Sonja) of Mayville, NY and William Mathews (Sheri) of Glendale, AZ. He is also survived by one niece, several nephews and many cousins.

Memorial donations can be made to the Mayville Rescue Squad (PO Box 2, Mayville, NY 14757) or to Chautauqua Hospice and Palliative Care (20 W. Fairmount Ave, Jamestown, NY 14701).
