He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles V. Parker and Bertella A. Greene Parker; his former life partner Martha Faye Bates Parker; his wife Diana Bourne Work Parker; his daughter Anita Diana Parker; and his sisters, Pearl Hartwig and Helen Jean Catino.

He is survived by : his son David Lane Parker (Gretchen) of Mayville; his grandchildren, Justin Parker (Erin) of Mayville, Samantha Gilmore (Lee) of Mayville, Benjamin Parker (Nickki) of Columbus, OH, Sarah Pfleuger (Steve) of Brocton, Stephanie Beck (Chad) of Sheridan and Katie Parker (Paul) of Buffalo; and his stepchildren, Brenda Sutton (Jim) of Augusta, KS, Debbie Weaver (Bruce) of Northeast, PA, Cindy Work of Westfield, Edward Work II (Laurie) of Westfield and John Work (Suanne) of Westfield. He is also survived by many step grandchildren. great grandchildren, step great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
