It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie Raymond of Mechanicville, New York, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eddie Raymond to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank G. Raymond and Ann Raymond (Goverski); his siblings, Frank and Mary Noyes; and his pet Cassidy.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Raymond (Ontkush); his sons, Chad Raymond (Laura) of Silver Spring, MD and Bryan Raymond (Hadiye) of Schenectady, NY.; his grandchildren, Alexander, Naz, Defne, Ella and Oliver; and his caregivers, Lisa and Kim. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes (729 Hudson Ave, Stillwater, NY 12170). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
