Geraldine left this world on May 29, 2025 at the age of 97, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Gaudette and Eudora Gaudette (D'Avignon); her son Lawrence Murphy; her daughter-in-law Diane Murphy (Sirchia); and her siblings, Fredrick Gaudette (Edna) and Shirley Mehan (William).
She is survived by: her son Robert Murphy of Schuylerville; her sister Louise Patenaude (Kenneth) of Stillwater; her granddaughter Nicole Benware (Patrick); her great grandchildren, Aubry and Wyatt of Stillwater; and her stepchildren, Robbin Stokes of Michigan, Noel Ireland (William) of Australia, Allison Wheeler of Cambridge and Charles Smith (Michele) of Gansevoort. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Home (729 Hudson Ave, Stillwater, NY 12170). The inurnment will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
