With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ricky J. Cook of Mechanicville, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Cook and Donna Lee Cook (Madigan); and his sister Melinda. He is survived by: his wife Terri (Fitch); his children, McCartney L. Cook and Donna Kathleen Cook; his brother Joseph Cook; his children, Nathan, Tyler, Leanna Cook, Shawn Cook (Yiona Bersabel) and Tomiko Cook; the parent of his child Aiko; and his aunts and uncles, Gene, Julie Cook, Max, Joan Koch and Ann Cook. He is also survived by several other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephew, extended family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Transfiguration Parish (17 S Main St, Schaghticoke, NY 12154). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Saratoga National Cemetery (200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871).
