He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eileen; his children, Erik Bruckbauer, Heidi Acker and Kurt Bruckbauer; his grandchildren, Billy, Jimmy, Tommy, Bella and Violet; and his siblings, James Bruckbauer, Joan Dorr, Mary Roach, Anne McNamara and Jane O'Grady.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Fives Smithtown Funeral Home (31 Landing Avenue, Smithtown, NY 11787). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 9:45 AM at the St. Patrick R. C. Church (280 E Main St, Smithtown, NY 11787). A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (3442 NY-112, Coram, NY 11727).
