We are sad to announce that on July 22, 2025, at the age of 97, Gilda Fasolino (Middle Village, New York) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Gilda farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Gilda is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nicoletta and Elsa; and her granddaughters, Jackie and Stephanie.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Michaels Funeral Home (79-22 Metropolitan Ave, Middle Village, NY 11379). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Margaret R. C. Church (66-05 79th Pl, Middle Village, NY 11379). A burial was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the St. John Cemetery (80-01 Metropolitan Ave, Flushing, NY 11379).
