With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bennie J. Dombal Jr. (Middletown, New York), born in Slate Hill, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 29, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Bennie departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bennie. Though Bennie may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie J. Dombal Sr. and Victoria Jashembowski Dombal; and his son Jeffrey Craig Dombal. He is survived by: his wife Joann Cole Dombal; and his children, Mark Dombal, Kent Dombal (Susan), Karen Sutton and Paul Dombal (Ania). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Cross Church (626 County Rd 22, Middletown, NY 10940). A burial will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Stanislaus Cemetery (17 Pulaski Hwy, Pine Island, NY 10969).
