Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sonia Maria Del Pilar of Middletown, New York, who passed away at the age of 90, on December 7, 2023. She was predeceased by : her parents, Juana Garcia and Thomas Carrion; her husband Raul Enrique Del Pilar Sr.; and her brothers, Ruben Carrion and Thomas Carrion Jr..

She is survived by : her siblings, David Carrion of Maybrook, N. Y. and Irene Jankowski (Peter); her sisters-in-law, Thelma Carrion of Maybrook, NY and Betty (Lou Finelli) of Tempe, Arizona; her children, Raul Del Pilar Jr. (Tito), Claudia of Newburgh, NY, Yvonne Maria Faraone, Sam of Walden, NY, Marisa Yvette Estrada and Jose (David) of Land; her grandchildren, Frank Marino Jr. of Florida, Jennifer Marino-Buenahora of Florida, Andrew of Florida, Michael Del Pilar of Newburgh, NY, Christina Faraone-Macchia, Anthony of Texas, Thomas Faraone, Lauren Armand of Unionville, NY, Zoe Estrada, Mario Grupico of Connecticut, Kip Gallagher of Florida and Lisa Van Wyck of California; and her great grandchildren, Cecilia Maria Macchia, Zachary Lindsay and Sebastian Van Wyck. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.

She happily hosted a weekly faith sharing group attended by many at her home since the 1990's, which moved to Zoom during the pandemic and continues today.

A Funeral Mass will be 11AM, Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at St. Paul's Church, Route 17K, Bullville, NY, In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Paul's Church.
