He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Evangelista and Katherine Evangelista (Sturiale); his son Gregory John Evangelista; his siblings, Raymond, Mary Doyle and Lena Kristensen; and his niece Dawn Kocut.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Vrooman); his daughters, Deanne Evangelista of Jupiter, FL and Jennifer Oliveira of Northborough, MA; his son-in-law William Oliveira; his grandchildren, Angelina and John; and his sisters, Evelyn Kocut and Joanne Gunther of Nyack, NY.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
