He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Hartman and Genevieve Southard Hartman; his significant other Pauline M. "Polly" Robinson; and his siblings, Theodore Hartman, Joseph Hartman, William Hartman, Frederick Hartman, Jennie Hartman Comfort and Emma Hartman Gardner.
He is survived by: his son John; his daughter-in-law Connie Hartman of Millport, NY; his siblings, Sheila Hartman, Ruth Radford, Clara McNeil, Walter "Laddie" McNeil, Lester C. Hartman and Doreen Hartman; his sisters-in-law, Pat Hartman (Theodore), Cindy Hartman (William) and Sue Perry-Hartman (Frederick); Scott Robinson, Amy Black, Butch Campbell, Jim Campbell and Gertrude Kinsley. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends.
