He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Povilonis and Martha Povilonis (Jakubauski); and his siblings, Lorraine Albanese and Joseph. He is survived by: his wife Marion; his children, Deborah Mullarkey (Michael), Martin Povilonis Jr., Richard Povilonis (Linda) and Diane Gale (John); his sister Kathleen Kosilla (Gerald); and his grandchildren, Patrick, Sean, Nicholas, Missy, Rose, Tasha, Joseph and Amy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edward F. Carter Funeral Home (170 Kings Ferry Rd, Montrose, NY 10548). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Assumption Cemetery (1055 Oregon Rd, Cortlandt, NY 10567). A burial will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at the same location.
