It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmelita Linda Babbie (Mooers, New York), born in Champlain, New York, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis St and Edith St (Baker); and her siblings, Ramona Blondo, Bertha Phaneuf, Nora Mercaldi, Agatha St. Andrew, Richard and Russell St. Andrew.

She is survived by : her husband Gerald B. Babbie; her children, Gerald F. Babbie (Danieal Barnes), William Babbie (Terry) and Shelley Roberts (Michael); her grandchildren, Brandon McKinley, Sarah Jensen (Anthony), Courtney Sterling (Kevin), Ryan Babbie (Rebecca Antonakos) and Oceanna Roberts; and her great grandchildren, Scarlett Bischoff, Frederick Jensen, Lenore and Reyn McKinley.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Carmelita Linda Babbie may be made to Hospice of the North Country and/or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
