He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Nye and Betty Nye. He is survived by : his wife Michele Nye of Moravia; his children, Nanette Nye-Rutledge (Billy) of Owasco, Brian (Johanna) of Moravia and Brad (Julia) of Summerhill; his siblings, Gary Nye (Bonnie) of Locke, Karen Sharpsteen (Steve) of Rome, Diana Nye and Denise Nye of Moravia; and his grandchildren, Shane, Kelsey, Kaden Rutledge, Alexa, Drew Nye, Violet, Wyatt and Xander Nye. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the pandemic, a private family service and burial will be held.
