It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Michael Forand Sr. of Moriah Center, New York, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Paul and Elaine Forand (Briggs); his sister Anne Gardener; his brother-in-law Greg Kirby; and his significant other Joyce Brace.
He is survived by: his wife Constance Weddell; his friend Rich Redman; his siblings, Beth Kirby and John (Mary); his brother-in-law George Gardner; his children, C. Micheal Forand Jr. (Hilda) and Wendy Harper (Sonny); his grandsons, Eric Forand, Jake Shahan and Thomas Forand; his great grandchildren, Eliza, Jayden and Ander; his grandchildren, Brian Steitz (Shannon), Elizabeth McPherson (Chris), James Brace (Samantha), David Brace (Neddy), Hilary Primo (Bobby) and Heather O'Hara (Jake); his great grandchildren, Lucas, Azriella, Ariah, Aiden, Harrison, Holden, Hudson and Jenevieve; and his pets, Rowlf and Annie Oakley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
