He is survived by : his wife Judith LaPeruta (Spetalieri); his children, Richard LaPeruta (Mary) of Hillsborough, NJ, James LaPeruta of Mount Marion, Michael LaPeruta (Robin) of Mount Marion and Paula Bruce of Wellington, FL; his sister Anntheresa Medeci (George) of Wappingers Falls, NY.; his grandchildren, Ashley LaPeruta, Amber LaPeruta, Alexa LaPeruta, Anastasia LaPeruta, Logan LaPeruta, Aurora LaPeruta, Alexis LaPeruta, Isabella Bruce and Lindsay Buchanan; his great grandchildren, Alexandria LaPeruta, Eloise LaPeruta and Bryant Zimmerman; his niece Lori Calandra (Moran); and his nephew Lawrence Moran.

Due to Covid 19 concerns, the family of Richard has requested that close family members only, may attend.
