It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stella (Schwartz) E. Ropke of Narrowsburg, New York, who passed away on June 24, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Christian F. Ropke (Chris); her parents, Fred Schwartz and Cora Schwartz; her siblings, Floyd Schwartz, Mildred Cole and Dorothy Smith; and also Claudia Jean.
She is survived by : her sons, Scott Ropke (Pam) of Narrowsburg, NY and Tom Ropke (Carol) of Floral Park; her grandchildren, Scott Ropke Jr. (Candy), Jackie Engvaldsen (Adam), Michael Ropke (Emma) and Christine Ropke; and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Lance Ropke, Alex and Ashlyn Engvaldsen.
