As we bid Kathleen farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Kathleen is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband James McGovern; and her son Edward. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen (Richard Kearns), James (Christine McGovern), Deborah McGovern and Colleen McGovern (Marc Ryan); her granddaughters, Katie (James McGlew), Kelly Guarino, Maura McGovern and Myla McGovern; and her great grandchildren, JT and Kennedy McGlew. She is also survived by children, granddaughters, great grandchildren, friends and family.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Augustine's Parish (118 S Main St, New City, NY 10956).
