She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, German and Mathilda Grunwald (Kraheck); her brothers, Eric, Norman and Patrick; her daughter Matilda; her husband Alfred Magnatta; her children, Linda (Ken Zebrowski), Kathy (Patrick Peters), Alfred Jr. (Carol) and Jeffrey (Luanne); her grandchild Gigi'; and her great grandchild Magnatta'.

In her youth, she worked at Lederle Laboratories, a prominent pharmaceutical company recognized for its contributions to both veterinary and human medicine.
