Flora Leone Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flora Leone of New Hartford, New York, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on April 18, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Siringo and Rosaria Messina Siringo; her brothers, Albert, John (Vera), Louis (Beverly) and Tony Siringo; and her parents-in-law, Carmella, John Caputo, Katherine, Frank Delia, Theresa, Al Stivali, Lena Bruzzese-Papa, Rock, Angie Leone, Grace Leone, Victor, Cora Leone, Patsy Leone, Frank Cannistra, Anthony and Dorothy Leone.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph V. Leone; her children, Pasqual A. "P. A." (Lisa Leone), Joseph V. Jr. (Lori Leone), Rosann Stefanski of Utica and Lisa; her son-in-law Robert Gillette of Frankfort; her grandchildren, Dawn, Joe Rich, Matthew, Michael Stefanski, Stephen, Rachelle Gillette, Rebecca Gillette, Joseph Leone, Daniele Leone, Meghan, Brittany and Ashley Santiago; her great grandchildren, Salvatore Rich, Alexander and Charlie Gillette; her parents-in-law, Mary DiGristina, Angeline Cannistra (Shirley), Russell, Laura Jean Leone, Violet Leone and Margaret Siringo; and her friends, John and Landa Rozyla. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation for FAMILY MEMBERS ONLY will be held on Wednesday from 5-7 pm at The Scala & Roefaro Funeral Home Inc. 1122 Culver Ave. All COVID protocols will be required at the funeral home and at church.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
