She was predeceased by: her daughter Debra Donovan; and her sister Daisie Walters. She is survived by: her parents, John Hess and Rena Hess (Leary); her spouse Joseph F. Donovan; her sons, Dan Donovan, Joann Donovan, Pat Donovan, Chris Donovan and North Utica; her grandchildren, Melissa Donovan, Frank Ozog, Lindsay Donovan, Anthony Coromato, Lauryn Donovan and Ena Donovan; and her great grandchildren, Bianca Artessa and Alexander Ozog.
