He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley Makarewicz and Josephine Pulski Makarewicz; his son Kenneth Makarewicz; and his sisters, Anna Cardamone, Helen Zilavy and Gertrude Reynolds.
He is survived by : his sister Alice Cook. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
