With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margaret W. Rizzuto of New Windsor, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Campbell Nelson and Verna Mae Nelson (Burch); her husband Roberto Rizzuto; her brother Ronald Nelson; and her son-in-law John Carton.
She is survived by: her daughter Fran Carton; her grandchildren, Ryan Carton (Corinne) and Sarah Carton (Tony); and her siblings, Frank Nelson, Richard Nelson, Jesse Nelson, Sylvia Holman (Ted) and Aileen Isbell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to honor their loved one by requesting that, instead of sending flowers, you contribute time to supporting families of individuals with dementia. This can be done by volunteering for organizations that help families cope with dementia, donating to relevant charities, or simply offering your time to help a family member struggling with dementia care.
