We bid farewell to Elena Fairchild (New York, New York), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 23, 2025 at the age of 91. Elena touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine Halpin Fitzpatrick (Kay) and Joseph Fitzpatrick; her sister Joan Marie Bock (Peter Fairchild); and her son Scott Fairchild. She is survived by: her significant other Peter Fairchild; her friends, Peter Higgenbottom Squeak, Leroy and Chewie; her daughters, Amanda and Devon Fairchild; her grandchildren, Langston Chambers and Ravyn Chambers; and her sibling's children, Megan and Rick.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Redden Funeral Home (325 W 14th St, New York, NY 10014). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (46 W 16th St, New York, NY 10011).
