She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Hibbett Sharp and Sarah Robinson Sharp; and her siblings, Dr. Vernon Hibbett Sharp, Sarah Sharp Taylor, Rev. Lorene Sharp White and Margaret Sharp Howell.
She is survived by: her children, Trudy Caldwell Byrd (Will), Sarah Caldwell Hedrick and Benjamin Hubbard Caldwell, III (Lael); her grandchildren, Susannah Scott Byrd, Henry Harrison Byrd, Ian Caldwell Hedrick (Molly), Amy Xuemei Hedrick, Isabel Lael Caldwell and Benjamin Edward Caldwell; and her great grandchild Scarlet Hedrick. She is also survived by five godchildren; fifteen nieces and nephews; and many, many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be sent to YWCA, Nashville, the Beersheba Springs Medical Clinic or the West Tennessee Regional Arts Center.
